Can I give IAS and PCS exam after doing B.Tech in IT?
Sir,if a person qualified b.tech with information technology branch can give IAS and PCS exam ?

Yes offcourse you can go for IAS exam.
Minimum education criteria = Graduate also Candidates appearing for Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination, however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing and also for PSU The candidate should possess a degree of bachelor in any discipline from a recognized university or institution; Provided that the candidate may be permitted to take preliminary examination while studying for his degree. He/She should be 21years to 35 yrs of age at the time of appearing |

yes you give this exam criteria for IAS exam:- *Candidate pass graduation *Must be an INDIAN *Age- 21 to 30 years 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidate 3 years relaxation for OBC candidate *In the month of february this exam application will announced. |

So, Candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government are eligible for appear in IAS exams. yes u can give ias as well as pcs exam after a degree in it. but the main problem will come when u had to select optional subjects for ias exam because computers as a subject has still not been added in the ias curriculum hence u would need to take some other subjects.

Yes friend, you can surely appear for IAS exam. As per the eligibility criteria the educational qualification required to become an IAS officer is a graduation or its equivalent. Since you finished your graduation (B.tech) you can appear for UPSC exam to become an IAS officer. And the age limit must be 21 to 30 yrs.
And for appearing in PCS exam the applicant should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. The student should have taken Punjabi as one of compulsory or elective subjects in his/her Matriculation examination. The age limit must be 21yrs to 35yrs. |

Yes,obviously you can became IAS officer after completion of your graduation in B.Tech IT course...
to be eligible for IAS entrance exam,the eligibility criteria is as follows: -»you must be completed graduation with minimum 55% in any course from reputed university... -»the age limit to apply for IAS entrance exam must be between 21-30years... so after passing IAS entrance exam, you can become an IAS officer... good luck. |
