The minimum qualification for candidates for NDA is +2 with PCM for appearing for National Defenc Academy and Technical Entry Scheme. Class 12 passed candidates from any stream and in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years can appear for Indian Army wing of NDA, +2 candidates with PCM with minimum 60% can appear for Indian Navy and Indian Airforce. Yes. You are eligible to join Army as you have completed 12th class in Commerce stream. Have a look at the detailed information regarding the procedure to join in Army.

One has to crack NDA Exam in order to join Army wing which is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

Candidates can also apply for this exam to join
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing in addition to Army wing.

The selection proceudre to be placed in Army wing is by
-Written Test
-Interview
later on a medical test will also be conducted to the candidates who have got through the Interview.

Here is the required eligibility criteria for this exam.

Academic Qualification :
-One should have completed 12th class from a recognized board to join Army wing.
-One should have completed 12th class from a recognized board with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects to join Navy and Air Force wings.
-Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to appear for this exam.

Age criteria :
-One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

For this academic year, UPSC has completed both the NDA Exams.

If you are interested, you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam which is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012. The last date to apply for this exam is by 30-01-2012.

How To Join Indian Army After 12th Commerce

Yes you are definitely eligible for joining the Army..provided that you satisfy the age criterion too..

You have to just appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) exam which is conducted twice every year by the UPSC in the months of April and August..

For appearing in the NDA Exam..a candidate must fulfill the following minimum criterion :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out in any stream from a recognized board..

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

Apart from these..you should also be having a good physical health and a perfect eyesight..

The next NDA exam is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012

The forms for this exam will be available to you from 31st December,2011 and the last date to submit the forms is 30th January,2012..

You need to first clear the written exam which will test you on the following grounds :-
General Knoledege
English
Basic Maths

After getting through the written test..you need to clear the interview and the medical examination then you will be able to join the Military Academy..
