IGNOU PhD Admission 2012:-

For Doctoral programmes, application forms submitted between 01 April and 30 September are considered for January session while applications received between 01 October and 31 March are considered for July session

Admission Procedure:-

M.S. is a Post Graduate Research Degree in Engineering. Admission for MS is through an Entrance Test and an Interview, conducted by the university, for students who possess B.E / B. Tech. or any other Qualifications recognized by the University. M. Phil. is a research degree offered in Science and Humanities. Admission for candidates possessing Post-graduate qualification is through an interview. The Candidates once admitted, must pass in two subjects prescribed and then submit the thesis based on the results of their research work.

Ph.D. Program is offered in all faculties. Admission is for candidates possessing Postgraduate qualifications in the concerned subject and is through a Written Test or an Interview or both. The admitted candidates must pass the Pre-Ph.D. Examination and then submit the thesis based on their research work.

The University has provision for Full time and External Registration for Research Programs. In full time research, the candidate has to work as Full time Research Scholar in one of the constituent Units of JNTU. In case of external registration, the candidate must be employed in research and development organization or educational institutions having facilities for carrying out the research at their work place. However, they are also permitted to utilize the University facilities when ever required. In case of external registration, the candidate shall have one research supervisor from the organization they are working and the other supervisor from the university.

All admissions for The Academic Programs of the University are State-wide and are made as per the provisions of the Presidential Order and rule of reservation of A P State Government.

JNTU PhD Admission 2011 Important Dates/ Notification:-

Applications are invited for admissions to the Full Time / External Ph.D. /M.Phil. /M.S. Research Programmes in major areas of Engineering, Science, Technology, English, Physical Education and Management at JNT University Hyderabad.

* Demand Draft for Full Time / External Research Programmes of Rs. 1,000/-(in case of SC/ST candidates Rs. 500/- for Full Time research programme) in favour of “The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad”payable at Hyderabad dated not earlier than 21.03.2011 drawn on any Scheduled Bank recognised by RBI.
* Application along with the above said document should reach “The Director, Admissions JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad - 500 085 on or before25th April, 2011 by 4.00 pm.
