Hello Sir, I have completed my class 12th with MCVC in Electrical and now I want to pursue BCA. I want to know that am I eligible to get admission in BCA? Is it a good option for me?

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a three-year Bachelor's degree course in the field of Information Technology. Candidates who have passed Intermediate or 12th standard examinations from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue BCA course.

Admissions in BCA course in most of the colleges are done through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks. Only some top reputed institutions conducts an entrance examination/ admission test to find merit candidates for offering admission in BCA course.

Candidate should have completed 12th in any stream preferably Science stream with at least 50% marks with Mathematics as one of the subject of studies from a recognized Board.

Your age shouldn't be bellow 17 years.
