can i pursue m phil through distance mode???????..pleaes telll me if its possible to do so

If a candidate has the required eligibility to pursue M.Phil in the concerned subject then surely he can pursue the course through distance education. Generally the minimum qualification is a master degree or equivalent from a recognized university and the master degree should be in the same subject in which M.Phil programme is to be pursued. The minimum aggregate marks is 55%. There are several institution providing the course through distance education. Institutions like Annamalai University, University of Madras - Institute of Distance Education, Anna University etc. offer the M.Phil programme.

ugc has lift the ban on distance mode of mphil. But still yet no unversities are providing mphil in distance mode. I would like to know which unversities are providing mphil in mathematics in distance mode? Subrat kumar panda,kvs

Yes, you can purse M.Phil through distant education if you have required educational qualification for that. The candidate should have a post graduation degree in the same subject on which he wants to purse M.Phil, from a recognised University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

If you have completed Masters degree with above 55% marks then you are applicable for M.Phil course in Distance mode.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has lifted the two -year-old ban on distance MPhil and PhD courses. The move comes after widespread protests by various universities. Many Open Learning Universities like IGNOU were protesting the ban on the ground that their respective laws, passed by Parliament or legislatures, allowed them to offer such courses.

Yes, you do Distance course in M.phill.
There is no problems for you.
But here i told you one think always prefer for Regular study.
Because for Regular study a value is for that.
