Re: Can I register for IPCC exam directly if going to appear in final year of B.Com?
IPCC stands for the Integrated Professional Competence Course.
It is the second stage of Chartered Accountancy. Eligibility criteria: 10+2 passed or appearing candidates have to first clear Common Proficiency test then appear for the IPCC but graduate and post graduates are exempted from CPT, they can directly register for the IPCC and articleship. So, in final year of bachelor's degree in commerce, you can appear for the IPCC. For registration issues and queries, click here |

Yes,you can directly register for IPCC exam after completion of your graduation degree in Commerce.
One who has completed graduation in any stream can directly apply for the IPCC course without writing the CA-CPT(Common Proficiency Test) exam. The minimum percentage required to join IPCC course for Commerce graduate is 55% and for non-commerce graduates,it is 60%. |

Quote:
IPC stands for Intermediate Exam and is being conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICWAI). To join in Intermediate exam you should have completed a degree from a recognized university and with at least 55% aggregate. A candidate is eligible for enrollment for IPC course only after completing CPT (Common Proficiency Test). A student should submit filled-in registration forms for Intermediate and the cost of Prospectus is Rs. 100. The registration form can be downloaded from http://www.icai.org Along with the registration form the following should be attached:

Re: Can I register for IPCC exam directly if going to appear in final year of B.Com?
Actually IPCC examination held twice in a year in the months of May and November. Absolutely you are eligible to apply for the IPCC Examination having final year of graduation. More over you must produce the certificates of Graduation at the time of Examination.
Here we are providing you the eligibility criteria for IPCC examination. Eligibility for IPCC Examination : 1.You should complete the CPT and 10+2 examination in any stream with minimum 40% of marks whether it is Commerce or Non commerce from the recognized university. 2.More over you should have applied for IPCC at least 7 or 8 months before the examination. 3.As you said you are pursing final year of graduation so you are definitely eligible to apply for the IPCC examination. 4.In fact for the students of graduation so you have to complete the training about nine months. Hope this information will be useful to you. |
