Can I sit for Electronics branch exam if I am a electronics and instrumentation engineering student?


i am from applied electronics and intrumentation branch.can i sit in the exam in electronics branch?our 90% course is same.so can i sit in exam or not?

yes of course ...i have seen so many students doing like this.....
a student of EC Branch hac given GATE and he opted the course of do this.
but remember in mentioning that.

definitely u can attend for all the electronics related examinations u dont have to worry that you are ineligible for any course that is a highly impossible task to disqualify you based on your branch and if you are interested you can do a specialisation in any branch u like in engineering

I have done B.Tech in ECE. I want to know whether I can take an M.Tech in Instrumentation related courses. How to apply for the GATE then. Please help me.
