i completed my B.tech in information technology (IT)branch
is their any chance to do my M.Tech in Mechanical or MARINE ENG branch.

Marine Engineering is an allied to mechanical engineering. So you can surely join Either of two i.e. M.tech in mechanical engineering or Marine engineering.

no you can not go for m.tech in mechanical engineering or marine engineering,if you have other subject in b.teck or BE,
only mechanical or marine engineering students can apply for m.tech.

sorry friend you cannot go for mtech marine as you are an it student better continue your pg in the same stream

sorry dear it is not possible.

however,instead of this you can join merchant navy by persuing 1 year pre-sea training which is offered by numbers of institute or any other post graduate diploma in shipping or by persuing MBA in hospitality management etc.

i think you can take mechanical engineering only if you write gate exam in mechanical engineering and get good rank,other wise it is not possible for you to do mechanical engineering
but let me tell you that it is going to be very tough for you to write gate in mechanical engineering,i would advice to go for long term coaching

you can join any of the two courses as your m.tech but better to say to go for the same stream in which you have completed the b.tech..

it will be help ful for you to go for the exam..

it will also broden your future prospects for getting jobs in the it companies..

sorry to say, you can't change in your branch of engg in MTech.

so you can't study Mtech in ME or marine engg.

but if you have interest in Marine engg, then you may do diploma courses in marine.

You can study Mtech in ME or marine engineering from some of the good colleges.
Only to get admission you havwe to face an entrance exam like GATE.
Some of the reputed institute are like
IITs,
NITs
Jadavpur
Shibpur

it is not possible,the only apply for m.tech in his field like m.tech in it brance.you should passed out b.tech in it branch so you will be do m.tech in it branch not other branch.

yes you can study M.tech in ME or Marine engineering.its because they are they are the two names of almost same engineering.they are very much related to one another though they are not the same course.so just go and do m.tech in which ever stream you want.
