Sorry to say but you can do M.A in English as this is not a matter of joke , first you have completed your Bachelor in commerce then you wanted to switch to the Arts stream . Sorry but no institutes in this state would allow to take such combination if you wanted to do study M.A in English via regular mode .

Yes , there are some institutes or rather corresponding institutes that allow you to take M.A in English like IGNOU , but froiend to be very frank i would suggest you to continue your study in remaing in your own filed only , and do your best as there are lots of opportunity that are waiting for you after your B.COM.

Yes you can go for MA (English) after your B.com. For Master's course the qualification required is bachelor's degree with any field from a recognized university. But it's better to go for your field and go for M.Com. Because your present field is from commerce side and you want to go for arts stream. So its better go for M.com and do your masters with your stream.

Post graduation wants a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recogniszed there is no issue you are from Commerce, Science or Arts stream.
