Can we go for MS degree directly after MBBS? Do we have to complete our MD degree first and then go for MS degree?


hi there ,

i am having a confusion about MD (doctor of medicine) degree & MS (master of surgery).
MY QUESTION IS : can we go for MS degree directly after MBBS or do we have to complete our MD degree first & then go for MS degree

can we give frcs part 1 exam when we are a student of 4 yr mbbs?

hi,
M.D/M.S are the two different course which you can do after M.B.B.S.

NO, there is no need of doing M.D first then M.S

The subjest in which you cam do M.D are:-

Pathology
Pharmacology
Physiology
Paediatrics
Psychiatry
Pulmonology
Radiodiagnosis
Radiotherapy
Anaesthesia
Anatomy:
Biochemistry
Community Medicine
Dermatology


Subject in which you can do M.S are:-

ENT
Forensic Medicine
General Surgery
Orthopaedics
Ophthalmology
Obs & Gynaecology
