Are there any proper Careers in Indian Air Force for females after 10+2?

No, females can join IAF only after graduation through CDSE exam.

For Technical Entry BE, B Tech or equivalent or a higher qualification in civil or electrical or mechanical or electronics engineering, computer science, telecommunications engineering and architecture is needed. Specialist entry is for those with 50 per cent marks in:

1) Graduate B Sc with a minimum one-year diploma in computer science
2) Graduate with a minimum one-year diploma in communication or journalism or public relations or psychology
3) B E in remote sensing

In women special entry scheme, the initial contractual period is five years but in case any candidate is found unfit or unsuitable within first six months, her commission can be terminated any time before the expiry of the five year period.

After 12th class anyone can join Air-force via NDA and for NDA girls are not elgible but...

The three branches of the Air force are

• Flying,
• Ground duty
• and Technical branch.

The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions.

Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force.

sorry t say but after 12th there is only one way of entrance into air force and that is through NDA, but girls are not allowed in NDA.

if you want to get into NDA then you have to complete your B.tech and then you can enter through the UGC scheme but there also girls are taken only for Short service Commission. ALL THE BEST

Indian Air Force do not have any career options for females after 12th.

The females to get inside the Air Force must be a graduate.

Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force.

Direct Entry Scheme
After you have completed your engineering, you can join the Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme. Both Men and Women can use this mode of entry to apply to the Indian Air Force.


University Entry Scheme (UES)

Eligibility Criteria:

Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) & Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical)

Permanent Commission (for Men) / Short Service Commission (for Men & Women

To join as the Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) stream you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
Age
18 to 28 years*

Marital Status
Candidates below the age of 25 years should be Unmarried.

Nationality
Indian

Gender
Applicable to both men and women.

Educational Qualification (Aeronautical Engineer – Electronics)
Candidates applying for Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) Branch would be eligible if they have undergone any one of the follwing Educational Qualifications

dear sir/madam i am a polytechnic 3 year diploma holder in the pharmacy!

Sorry to say but being just 12th pass, you can not apply for Air force as no girls are allowed through NDA exam entry to defense after 12th. Only males/Boys are allowed through this entry.
You can join IAF after graduation through CDS exam conducted by UPSC and if you are from engineering background then you can also take AFCAT exam .

AFCAT is the best way to join IAF.

Unfortunately there are no options for Females to join Indian Air Force after 10+2.
Only Males are eligible to apply for Indian Air Force after 10+2.
There is a entry name NDA-National Defence Academy that gives entry to only Males in Indian Air Force after class 10+2.Females are not allowed for NDA.

Through NDA one can apply for Indian Air Force,educational qualification requires is
10+2 passed with Physics and Maths in Intermediate.
Age limit-16.5 years to 19.5 years,At the time of commencement of course.
ONLY MALES ARE ALLOWED.

Apart from NDA there are no other entries for even Males after passing Intermediate/10+2,Only male can apply for NDA.
Females have very limited chances to join Indian Air Force,and after Intermediate eventually no chances.

Females should wait to complete Graduation to apply for Indian Air Force.
