Yes, CMJ University, Shillong, Meghalaya is approved by Government of India as it is approved by University Grant Commission(UGC) u/s2(f) of UGC Act which is a Government organization.

CMJ University is a Self financed University located at Shillong .

CMJ university Established by the Government of Meghalaya.

CMJ University is approved by the Govt of Meghalaya and UGC but CMJ University is not approved by AICTE .

Any university which is approved by UGC is called recognized .

So after completion of Graduation degree from CMJ , you can apply in Govt jobs in India .
