In which college should I apply after getting an AIR of 12973(308 score) in GATE under SC category? Can I get into any IIT?


Dear sir
i got GATE 2011 Score 308 AIR 12973 from Mechanical stream i am belonging from SC category. will you suggest me which college i should apply? is there any chance from IIt please reply me sir.

hi,,
your rank is way too high even for an sc category student to get admission in the iits.
you though may have a slim chance to get admission in the nits with your rank and reservation quota,
but i though doubt whether you have qualified or not ,
because your rank is way too high for an qualified student,
to tell you the fact,you can apply for admission in an m.tech course only if you are an gate qualified student
