Complete Procedure to join IB and IPS? Exam pattern and required qualification for this?


How can join IB Dept. and IPS.
what is complete procedure for join above department like qualification, exam, exam pattern etc.

IB stands for Intelligence Bureau .The candidate who wishes to join intelligence bureau has to appear in the entrance exam conducted by UPSC. One can join IB after clearing UPSC exam .

The eligibility criteria for UPSC exam to join IB are as under :-

-The candidate must have passed graduation degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.

-The age limit to apply for the IB is from 22 years to 32 years. Upper age limit is relaxed for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per the Govt. rules .

The selection procedure involves of

* written exam and

* interview.

IPS stands for Indian Police Services .

One who wishes to join IPS has to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exam . UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam to make recruitment to the posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS etc.

The eligibility criteria required for civil services exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The candidate should have passed graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

- The age limit to apply for the exam is from 21 years to 30 years for general category.There is relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

- The no. of attempts for the exam is 4 times for general category under the creamy layer,7 times for OBC candidates and no limits for SC/ST candidates.

- The exam process involves

* Preliminary Exam

* Main exam

* Personality Interview.
