i am a student of 12th science ? which greduation course should i adopt for preparing ias exam? which are the main institutes for its preparation ? can"t a more than average student do it in two attempts?

You only need to be graduate in any field , so choose according to your interest. First concentrate on your graduation and develop habit of reading magazines and newspaper regularly.

Minimum qualification requirement is graduation in any field from a recognised university.
Why 2 attempts , you can do it even in 1st attempt as many people do and secure top ranks.

I hav finished my 2nd puc nd pls let me knw hw to prepare the general studies for ias exam which i hav thought 2 do after my graduation

Dear aspirant,
In order to appear for the Civil Services exam you can study any stream.
It doesn't matter in which stream you are.

The eligibility for this exam is only graduation without taking into consideration the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in his graduation.

So, study the stream that you have interest and then start studying the optional subjects as per your branch of studies.

It will mitigate your problems and your knowledge in the respective subject will increase.

Then start studying general studies , the common facts and government related terms and indian polity.

These are important parts of this exam.

I don't think that at present there is any need of coaching centers for you to join.
You can join the coaching center once you reach the 2nd year of studies in your graduation.
