I'm a 2nd year B.E student (ece) and want to knw abt the courses which can be done in different areas and would be benificial for me in future. Can these be done during regular sems...?

you should do any course according to your interest in which field you want to work. like after completion of B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering you may join in electronics core company or you may join in communication field or you may go or software industry. so first you have to decide in which field you want to go and according to this you have to choose in which field you will do any course.

if you want to do work in electronics field then now a days most popular course embedded system design. you may do this course during your semester break. this is a very good course for electronics students. otherwise you may do courses on networking.

if you want to work in communication field then you may go for a course on GSM mobile system or you may do training from BSNL or any other telephone company.

if you want to work in software field then you should do computer course. i think as you are studying B.Tech in ECE then you know C language. so learn any course from this list

SQL
ORACLE and many more computer courses are available.

yea you should do one course after the end of 2nd year. after 3rd year you have to do one training from an industry. if you want to do software related then you may do that during your semester also. manage your classes in weekend then easily you will complete computer course during your semester.

and also can go with some preparation exam for improving your skills

so i prefer you to do a course that is related with digital equipments
keeping this in mind the below two courses suits you the best
1. m.tech in digital electronics and communication
2. m.tech in VLSI and embedded systems
you may choose either of them for a good placement and salary

1.VLSI systems.

2.telecom courses.

3.radio communication.

4.nano technology related courses.

5.software related courses.

6.Embeded courses.

7.PLC courses.

etc.

dear friend,

you have to do two types of training course one is hardware and another is software.

hardware training course are telecommunication and networking field.

hardware most popular course is CCNA.

the software training course are in the field of c , c++, java ,oracle ,.net etc.

you can choose any of these and prepare well.

the most popular course of software field is SAP technology.

so after finsihing ur BE ECE there are many field that u can go for...
so according to it you can do the related courses...
for example...
if you want to go in to networking...
do courses like CCNA...C++,,,PHP, .NET, etc..
and if you want to go into communication field you can go for courses like
DBMSQ, M-TECH in electronics and communication..etc
you can even do M-TECH in VLSI design..if you are interested in vlsi field...
