Criteria and eligibility to apply for OBC Non-Creamy Layer for son?

Sir, I am a Post Graduate Teacher in a Govt. Aided school in Tamil Nadu. I initially was appointed as secondary grade teacher and promoted as PG Teacher after 40 years of age. My wife is unemployed. I am the only earning person in the family. Can I apply OBC - NCL for my son?

The present criteria for creamy and non creamy layer of OBC is based on income per annum. However, central government and state government job holders are not eligible for not eligible for non creamy layer category.

The income criteria is 8 lacs per annum. Candidates who parents income are less than this threshold are under non creamy layer and eligible for reservation benefits.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
