Note: Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply provided they possess the required educational qualification by 31.12.2010.

Age Limit: Not be more than 30 years

Mode of Selection and nature of Question paper
The mode of selection is through an All India Competitive Examination. The examination will be of three hours duration with one question paper containing the following three sections:

For JTOs(Telecom) :
Section-I : Engineering Stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Engineering Stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability test : 20 questions

For JTOs(Electrical)
Section-I : Electrical Engineering Stream: 50 questions
Section-II : Electrical Engineering Stream: 50 questions
Section-III : General Awareness: 20 questions

The question paper will be fully objective type with multiple options as answers to each question. The standard of papers in Engineering subjects will be that of Engineering examination of an Indian University.

Sorry boss , the date is examination is fixed by the authority itself . It is not a prefix one. But its notification is likeley to come after winters.
It is a seat dependent exam into which no. of posts vary. Hence it can be postponed to next year also.

The exact date have not been published yet, it has to be in the month of February. You can keep update with the dates by searching their official website regularly or other websites which can publish BSNL JTO exam dates. Keep visiting those sites at a regular interval of time to updated with dates.

The details that u hv provided reg. 2011 JTO Exam whose last date is 15th oct2010 is just for PWD category or for other engineer passouts too???...

Hello dear friend,
It is heard that BSNL might come out with JTO vacancies later next year.But it is not for granted when it will do so.BSNL conducted exams for almost 3500 JTOs last year and recently there were BACKLOG vacancies.
So keep yourself updated with the various job portals as well as the employment news. Keep on preparing from now itself.

Date of BSNL JTO exam till not decided by the BSNL but it will likely to available for registration after the month of march 2011 .
