Sir i need to the dates for NET exam in December 2012 , how can i get the notification and can yo tell me what type of questions will be asked for life science student .

NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is conducted by UGC, Twice in a year and the examination is conducted in June and December Every year. To apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course with minimum 55% Marks. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NET.

So, if you have completed your Post graduate degree course, then you are eligible for NET Examination.

The Notification of December NET Examination will be Published soon in the Month of October and the examination is conducted in December.

You have to choose the subject in NET on the basis of your Post graduation.

There are 3 papers in NET Examination and all are Objective, There is no Descriptive paper in NET Examination and no negative marking.

You have to attained the age of 19 years to apply for NET Examination. But there is no maximum age limit to apply for Lectureship post.

For Junior Research Fellowship Post, your age should not be more than 28 years.

NET exam conduct by UGC twice a year, in the months of June and December for jrf and lecturership.

Notifications are published in the months of March and September in Employment News and ugc website also.

For December month exam notification will come in september month.

December month exam will be conduct in the last week of december 2012.

You must have Post graduation degree in any subject with 55% from any recognised university.

There is no upper age limit for lecturership but for jrf maximum age is 28 year.

PG marks should be more than (final year) 55% or aggregate of 2 years PG should be minimum 55%. Please clarify...
