Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for admitting students in various undergraduate programs. Right to entry to several B.Tech program are also given on the basis of JEE Main. Symbiosis Institute of Technology will provide admissions on the basis of merit in any one of the entrance exam SET or JEE exam.

SET is held each year across India on the initial Saturday in the month of May.

Eligibility for SET exam: Applicants must successfully clear their 10+2 examination with 50% minimum marks with science stream from recognized Board if an individual wanted to opt for engineering course.

SET Exam dates 2016

- Online registration : Feb. to April 2016.

- Last date of payment of fees: April 2016.

- Downloading of admit card : Mid April 2016.

- Exam date : May 2016.

- Result : Last weak of May 2016.

- Counselling: June 2016.

Maharashtra State Eligibility Test is an examination for eligibility of lectureship in Universities and Institutes of Maharashtra.
