Dear Sir, I have completed my graduation from Yashwantrao Chavan Open University (YCMOU). Am I eligible to appear for UPSC examination? Is this university's degree are approved by UGC or DEC?

YCMOU refers to Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University and the same university does hold affiliation from UGC and hence any degree course pursued from the same university is valid to apply for higher studies courses and government examinations accepting open university degree.

So, having completed your graduation degree course from YCMOU, you are eligible to apply for UPSC examination as it accepts the degree certificate from recognised open university.
