Here are the Details about top MBBS entrance exams:- ->Karnataka UGCET-2013 MBBS Admissions: Eligibility criteria: Candidates should have passed II PUE/10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate in PCB Those who have appeared and awaiting results of IInd PUE may also apply with the indication results are awaited in the application form The candidate should secure 50% of marks (90 marks out of total marks of 180) in UGCET-2013 to secure rank and eligible for counseling. ->JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2013: Eligibility Criteria: The applicant should be an Indian National He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December, 2013, the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S., (they should have been born on or before 01st January, 1997) The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and Mathematics (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) or any other elective with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education The applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/OPH the marks obtained in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology taken together in the qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination is 40% For OPH candidates in general category the minimum marks taken together in the qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination will be 45% Foreign Nationals: The nominations for foreign nationals if any are made only by the Govt of India Candidates are, therefore, advised to correspond with the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India, New Delhi and not with this Institute. ->Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Karad Admission 2013: Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must be 17 years on or before 31st December, 2013 Candidate must have passed std XII (HSC or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% marks (for MBBS/BDS only) and English Candidates appearing at std XII or equivalent examination in March, 2013 shall also be eligible to appear for KAIET 2013 however the candidate must fulfill the eligibility conditions before counseling. ->CMC Vellore MBBS Entrance Exam 2013: Eligibility Criteria:A candidate for admission to medical course must have 60% marks at +2 level in each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology taken together) and have an aggregate of 140/200 in these subjects, both at qualifying and competitive examinations and should have passed in English (60% in each and 130/200 aggregate for BC; 55% in each and 120/200 aggregate for MBC; and 40% in each and 80/200 aggregate for SC/ST candidates). Eligibility for MBBS: --->candidate must complete +2 from any recognized university with Biology, Physics, Chemistry. --->Age should be minimum of 17 years. Below are the top ten entrance exams: ---->AIIMS entrance examination:-(All India Institute of Medical Sciences), This exam is conducted in the month of June. ---->NEET (National Eligibility cum entrance exam):- this exam conducts in the month of may. ---->AIPMT: It is all India pre-medical/pre-Dental entrance examination ---->CMC (common entrance Test) :-This is conducted in second week of may. ---->COMEDK: It is conducted by COMEDK for admission to under graduate courses in member institutions of the consortium ---->DPMT(Delhi university per medical Test): It is conducted by Delhi university for admission to MBBS and BDS ---->GUJCET(Gujarat common entrance Test):It is state level exam conducted by the education department. ---->BHU(BHU-PMT): There are 84 seats in MBBS ,BDS, BAMS and B.pharma. ---->PMET(Punjab medical collage entrance test): This is conducted in the second week of may for admission to various medical , dental , Ayurvedic and homeopathic collages. ---->JIPMER entrance exam : This exam is conducted by jawaharlal institute of post-graduation medical education and research. |
