There is no specific exam as IAS entrance exam.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

To be eligible for IAS, Civil Service Exam, one must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

The selection for Civil Service Exam is conducted through three phases:-

-CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam comprises of objective type questions.

-Civil Service Main Exam comprises of subjective type questions from syllabus as prescribed.

-Personal Interview

*A bachelors degree in any field and from any university .

Age Limit:

*It is between 21 to 30 for general candidate .

*And there is age relaxation for reserved category .

Sc/St-no limit.

*It will be better that you start your preparation from the start of the graduation degree.
