I am Nayeb Subedar in Army & being retired on Sep 2016. Please give details about relaxation for post of PSI Maharashtra police rural.

For army retired persons, there is an upper age relaxation of 5 years in the recruitment of Police Sub Inspector in Maharashtra police department.
Age limit to apply for this post is 21-27 years and the age relaxations are : 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC and ST candidates & ex-servicemen.
And graduation or equivalent examination pass from government recognised college is the educational qualification required to apply for this post.
And the candidate must be physically, mentally fit to apply for this PSI post and the candidate must be citizen of India.
Physical standards required to apply for PSI post in Maharashtra police department are :
-> 170 cm height for men and 162.5 cm height for women candidates & 5 cm height relaxation for reserved category candidates.
-> Chest should be 80 cm without expansion for men and there is no such requirement for women candidates.
