Hello sir/madam I'm a BHMS UG passed out student and waiting for the NIH MD entrance exam 2016. Please may I know the details of the entrance exam?

Admission to the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) for the academic year 2016-17 offered by National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH) Kolkata will be made on the basis of NIH Kolkata BHMS Entrance Test 2016.

Eligibility criteria for admission :-

-The candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany/Zoology) and English.

-The candidate must have passed all the five subjects individually and obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

-The candidate age limit must be in between 17 years to 25 years as on 31st December 2016.

Exam pattern :

The exam will be in the form of objective type multiple choices questions.

There will be 200 questions of 1 mark each.

There will be negative marking of ! mark for each wrong attempt.

The total time duration for the exam will be of 3 hours.

The exam will be for the following subjects;

Physics - 60 marks

Chemistry - 60 marks

Biology - 60 marks and

General Knowledge - 20 marks.
