Respected Sir/Madam,is there any M.Sc(pathology) courses in mumbai which we can do after B.Sc(Microbiology) since i have completed my B.Sc(Microbiology) from Mumbai university

If one is doing DIPLOMA in audiology/speech pathology, they need to be informed that they CANNOT practice officially in URBAN areas neither can they legally sign a audiogram/or any other reports. A Diploma holder needs to work as ASSISTANT to an Actual Audiologist & Speech Pathologist.
An Audiologist & Speech Pathologist is a para-medical professional who has done atleast BASLP (Bachelors in Audiology & Speech Pathology) ie a 4yr program including 1 yr internship. Only BASLP/MASLP holders & above degree holders in this fraternity are allowed to work as Hearing & Speech Rehabilitation Specialist in Hospitals, Health Care Centres, Own Private Practice, schools & so on.
All aspirants, kindly note. To be an actual paramedical professional in ASLP you need to do Atleast 4yr program of BASLP.
Doing a diploma course, you would end up knowing only 2% of the actual knowledge & end up runing your career & take down the field of Audiology & Speech Pathology

If money is the problem. it is suggested that u should not take up dentistry as scope is quite shady due to alot of money in clinic investment, lack of govt jobs in hospital & also patient intake is less.
MBBS is a gud option, but in Big cities opening up a clinic with only MBBS degree - again the patient intake would differ from place to place. you have to keep in mind that MD/MS seats are very limited. At this point of life, you need a specialization to survive in big cities. Only MBBS might not hold you good unless you would practice in small towns etc.
Physiotherapy(PT) & Occupational Therapy(OT) are very good fields. Especially OT - abroad salary of an OT are very high & the intake of Indian OT are excellent although OT's awareness is not gud in India bcoz unfortunately Medical field professionals DO NOT have d TIME to understand other fields & respect them. OT's work is much better dan PT but unfortunately people only know about PT. So take your decision wisely. Plz contact your nearest medical college & visit all dept of medical & Para-medical courses.
DO NOT join Diploma courses & do not encourage it - it would ruin the future of patients, Professionals & India.

i would advise all, NOT to do DIPLOMA in Audiology or Speech Therapy. you all will be only technicians and legally have to wok in rural areas and/or as ASSISTANT to actual Audiologist & Speech Therapist who have done atleast BASLP/MASLP or higher. if u want real knowledge and uplift your future career. get into BASLP (4yr program) which would make you an Allied-Medical professionals. joining diploma you will not have any knowledge and ultimately ruin your career and spoil the name of the field of Audiology & Speech Pathology
