I have just passed my 10th exam from cbse board i want to get full knowledge of the BCA and MCA course.
Do i need to pass any entrance exam for it.
Give me full details of it.

Dear friend,

as for now you have just passed you 10th exam. For Bca the eligibility criteria is student must have passed in 12th with a minimum of 55 % in any of the field.

And after that yes there are plenty of entrance examinations, such as -

1. GGSIPU CET- is a common entrance test
conducted by Guru Gobind Singh
Indraprastha University, Delhi for
admission into its various technical
and professional courses.

2. AIMA UGAT- All India Management Association
Undergraduate Aptitude Test (AIMA
UGAT) is an entrance test conducted at
national and international level for
admissions into university approved
Bachelor programmes.

3. Symbiosis Entrance Test Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an
entrance exam conducted for the
admission into undergraduate level
programmes imparted at the
constituent/affiliated institutes of
Symbiosis International University (SIU).

Mca is just a master degree in computer application and can do after bca.

You are still young to think about MCA right now.
Firstly, you need to concentrate about your 12th standard. You need to have a science stream to opt for MCA or for BCA even. You must also have Mathematics in your subject combination. You can also have Biology if you wish. But having Mathematics is obligatory.

Secondly, when you pass your 12th standard, you will have to opt in those colleges of your state or in colleges outside your state(if you prefer). If the college that you opted for has the provision of taking an admission test first and then shortlisting candidates for BCA then you must sit for the admission test. If they right away take candidates on the basis of your marks, then no need of any tests.

Lastly, when you pass out as a BCA you will have to take forms from universities that have MCA courses. After submitting your form, you will called for an admission test. Remember in MCA admission test is a must. All institutes hold some test of their own. You need to clear it to get a chance in MCA course.
