What are the uses of writing the NET exam? am i eligible for getting more pay as a lecturer in colleges? is BE graduate eligible to write NET exam?

yes thats true, after giving and qualifying NET, you do get more payment than usual.Since it is not an easy exam ,those who qualify it seems to posess extra potential and are more hardworking than the rest so they do deserve more than the rest .

Yes it is true that lecturer get more salary after getting the NET exam or GATE exam.
You are lucky if you clear any of these.

But their is aproblem that you have to do your master after clearing the GATE.

Good thing is your salary increases after clearing the GATE.

It is pretty difficult to crack the NET exam and your income is substantially increased by passing the exam. You are given recruitment in government colleges where you are given pay according to the government pay scale.

I am an MBA in finance and want to start preparation for NET in which I will opt for Management subject. Since i am working, i want to know how much commitment in terms of time is required for NET?? In my case i did MBA in 2005 and need to again revise the books from scratch.....

now the salary of lecturers has increased by the implementation of 6th pay commission.

as you have done engg so for you to join as lecture you have to do M.TECH. rather than NET.

after doing NET you can get salary prescribed by the UGC.there is no question of more salary.

six pay commission is inforced so you can get higher salary.

Respected sir,i have done B.com Hons(B.ad) from rajasthan univdi.[first v],M.com fromPunjab univ.[first div].presently i am lecturer and teaching B.Tech students with salary as 16000.I have appeared for NET EXAM in june2010.My query is is my salary acc to qualification ?and what should be the hike if i clear my NET?

net qualified lecturer are best payers.and as there is no subjects in graduate engineering,then for engineering GATE qualification is preferred.

yes obiously you will get the good slsry after apssing the NET exam but is tough to pass this exam you should be hardworking and inteligence enough ti crack si=uch exams ok dear all the best

lecturers after NET get good amount of salary to fulfill their needs and to lead a good life and their salary increase als o if promotion is there

NEt exam is conducted by UGC a cadiadate who has qualifified net exam is eligible to become alecturer in any of the degree college or University.It is the minimum eligibility required to become a lecturer.
If you qualify net along with jrf you are eligible for reseach in your respective subject.
It is conducted each year twice in june and december

Yes lecturers get more salary. after cracking NET one can get good salary of about 40 to 45 thousand per month.
