should we write gate exam for ding M.tech through distance education in IIT after completing B.Tech in anna university affiliated colleges?

No, you should not write the gate exam for doing m.tech through distance education.But for a regular course in any college a GATE exam is compulsory to get admission in m.tech.

No , you dont need to write GATE exam for MTech through Distance mode in IITs because GATE exam is the eligibility to have admission for regular or Part-time MTech course seekers only not for distance mode candidates. Distance mode is made for those candidates which are already in a job and are not able to opt regular option. So in this case they need to produce the company employee certificate and by the help of video learning/broadcasting methodologies , they can do MTech via distance mode.
So either you go for a job and try to have distance education course after this. Or fight hard for GATE and get admission directly in IITs.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India

examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of

Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National

Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of

Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India and when

you qualify in that exam you are eligible to join in any master degree of

engineering or technology in any college. And you don't need to write GATE

exam for joining in distance education.

Hài...I've completed btech and worked for an engineering company for about 5 years. I've resigned from current organaisation and Nw I have a kid of 10months old. Am interested in doing mtech distance education.am I eligible to do it?
