no, the 12th and B.Tech percentage are not consider for GATE exam. candidates who passed in B.Tech and M.tech are eligible for writing GATE exam.

dear friend,
there is no such criteria in GATE. you don't worry it will not create any problem. the criteria is - you must be a bachelor degree holder in engineering. you must be a master degree holder in any branch.... if you fulfill the criteria then you are eligible for GATE.. all the best.. |

only eligibility condition is must. minimum 60% is necesary in b.tech. for gate.
