i want to know the educational qualification for cbi agent , now i have done my high school qualification ,,

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The eligibility criteria for Joining CBI are as follows......

*The candidates should be a citizen of India
*The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline , from a recognize university..
*The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.

CBI Stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

Educational Qualification: To become a CBI officer you need to have a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Criteria: While giving this exam your age needs to be minimum 20 on 1st july of the year when you are giving the exam. The upper age limit is 27 years.

There is upper age limit relaxation of upto 5 years for the SC/ST and upto 3 years for the OBC candidates.

Physical Criteria:

Height: For men:- 165 cm
For women:- 150 cm.
There is relaxation for the hills men and tribals of upto 5cm.

Chest: In case of male it is 76cm and should be expandable upto 5cm.
In case of females however no such rule is there.

Selection Procedure:

Preliminary Exam
Main Exam
Personality Test

Generally the preliminary exam takes place in the month of may or july. It consists of two papers basically.

Exam Pattern of Prelim Exam:

Part A: General Intelligence and general awareness
100 questions of 100 marks
Duration: 2 hours

Part B: Arithmetic
100 questions of 100 marks
Duration: 2 hours

This is just the qualifying exam so its marks is not added in the main exam.

Exam Pattern of Main Exam:

General Studies:- 100 marks (3hrs)
English:- 100 marks (2 hrs and 20 minutes)
Arithmetic:- 200 marks (4 hrs)
Language:- 100 marks (2 hrs and 20 minutes)
Communication skill and writing:- 200 marks (2hrs and 20 minutes)

If you are able to qualify all the stages then you will have to lastly go through the personality test which will test your mental ability. Basically the officers will grill you.

CBI(CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION) :To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC (Staff selection commission)board every year.

Age and educational qualification requirement for applying the examination:

Candidates must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years as on the first of January of the year in which they are applying. However, upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates according to the rules of government of India. When it comes to educational qualification, candidates must be degree holders from a recognized university to apply for this examination.

In addition to age and educational qualification requirements, candidates will also have to fulfill certain physical standards like height of 157.5 cms and chest size of 81 cms, fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

If you are wishing to join CBI then You have to apply for SSC (Selection Staff Commission) Examination..........

>> A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognized Universities.

>> Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years.

3.physical requirements:
height for men:165cm.

vision:
eye sight (with or without glasses)
distant vision:6/6 in one and 6/9 in second
near vision:0.6 in one and 0.8 in second.

IN ORDER TO BECOME A CBI AGENT , THE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION THAT IS NEEDED IS AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE A GRADUATE PASSED WITH 55 % FROM RECOGNIZED COLLEGE .
