Hi everyone, I have completed my MSc in IT through distance education from Mahatma Gandhi University. I want to apply for IBPS recruitment of IT Officer. So, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for me to apply in this recruitment.

--> The minimum qualifications required to apply for the IBPS IT officer examination are as below :-

a) You must be an Indian citizen.

b) Your age need to lie within 20 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is allowed in case of reserved category candidates.

c) You must have completed your engineering/technology degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Application/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics and Instrumentation discipline from a recognized university. Students holding post graduation i.e; master's degree in above mentioned discipline are also eligible.

d) Good communication skills along with computer proficiency is also desired.

So, having completed M.Sc in IT degree course in distance mode from a recognized university i.e; Mahatma Gandhi University, you are eligible to apply for the IBPS IT officer as per your educational qualification but you must satisfy other requirements too.
