i want to do gme course but i didn't get 50% marks in english in 10 or 12 standard.can i do this course?

-->. Engineering Degree from an AICTE approved college..
-->BE (Mech) /B.Tech (Mech) / BSc (Mech Engg) / BE (Naval Arch).
-->Min 50% Overall.
-->Min 50% marks in English in either 10th or 12th Std.
-->Age below 28 years as on date of start of course.
-->Medically fit certified by a Doctor approved by Director General Shipping.
-->Eye sight ± 2.5.
--> No colour blindness

friend Fluency in English is very important in this field so u need to have good command over the language ........

I have completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE approved institute.
Duration of my study in college is 4yrs from 2005-2009., But I completed my degree in May 2011.
I took 6yrs to complete my B.Tech.
I have got above 55% in all my semesters, from Semester 1 to 8.

Am I eligible for doing GME course?
