I am a B.Com final year student and I want to join NIFT after graduation. Please tell me about the eligibilty for this course and percentile/percentage required in graduation.

A graduate in any discipline can pursue the post graduate programmes offered by NIFT- National Institute of Fashion Technology. NIFT offers the following courses in Post graduation.
M.DES. - Master of Design
M.F.M. - Master of Fashion Management
M.FTech. - Master of Fashion Technology

THERE ARE THREE MASTERS PROGRAMS ARE THERE AT NIFT.
Masters in design,masters in technology and masters in management..

M.Des. (Master of Design)
Graduation Degree from a recognised University in any discipline or
Bachelor in Applied Arts (Fashion Design/ Visual Communication/ Graphic Design/ Industrial Design/ Interior Design/ Multimedia Design/ Product Design/ Textiles & Accessories)or
B.A. (Fine Arts) or B.Sc. (Textiles & Clothing)or
B.Arch.or
Design Diploma/ Degree from NIFT/NID only.

M.F Tech. (Master of Fashion Technology)
B.E. / B.Tech. (Textiles / Apparel / Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Electronics / Computer / Information Technology)

M.F.M. (Master of Fashion Management)
A three years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities or Diploma in Accessory / Fashion Design / FIT from NIFT only.

You can join Pg programme,minimum requirement is 50%

Dear,
The eligibility required to appear in NIFT is that the applicant must have done 12th from a recognized board with 50%. As per your query, you can opt for commerce stream in 11th or 12th because stream has no bar. What minimum required is that you should complete 12th with 50% marks.

--Eligibility to join NIFT after graduation are as follows:-

:- Must passed Graduation with minimum of 50-60%Mark's in any of the stream .

:- Age not less than 23 years.

:-percentage as well as Mark's relaxation available for reserved category candidates.
