The duration of the course is two years. The candidates for this course must be Indian citizens. Also, you must have achieved a minimum of 50% in your graduation. In 10+2 level, you should have undertaken the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Some of the food technology colleges and universities in India are University of Calcutta, Delhi School of Home Economics, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Tamil Nadu GD Naidu Agricultural University, and so on.

The eligibility for M.Sc in Food Technology is as follows: B.Sc from a recognized university in India and a minimum percentage of 55% and above There is going to be an entrance exam in order to pursue the course, the candidate needs to pass the entrance exam with good percentage. To apply for M.Sc Food Technology you must have a Graduate in any discipline of Science/ Engineering/ Technology with at least 50% marks aggregate.
