i am btech final year student having 67% aggregate till date and 59.6% in 10TH 72.25% in 12th. i want to know am i eligible for tcs campus recruitment test.

don't worry i think your eligible for the tcs.minimum eligibility is 60% through

career and no backlogs at the of time appearing for the tcs. And gap in studies

upto 2 yrs between 2 completed courses is permitted with vaild reasons only.

generally ,
TCS is a best mnc for IT / CS student..

The students having aggregate 60% are eligible..and you have it..

I tell about your 10th marks that you mostly sit in to the placement because if you are good in you technical then they neglect your 10th marks..


But for that you have to talk to your placement head that you can sit or nor for aptitude...

and one more thing , review of your teachers is most important for your selection .
If they tell that you are the best than they don't ask you many question..

and last one , you have not any atkt in your B.tech...

for aptitude exam , i give you one touchstone material in attachment which is provided us by TCS itself and all question of aptitude were from it...

and one more thing ,
TCS need 5000 employee this year so don't take a tension..

Yes you are eligible for TCS campus placement as you have scored good aggregate percentage in B.Tech till now. Above 65% in B.Tech is good percentage.
Regarding 10th percentage , it is not in the eligibility criteria.

So you are eligible.

You dont have 60% in 10th, so u r not eligible for TCS because TCS needs overall 60%, but if college will recommend you can sit for campusing.

Actually they keep the cut off percentile in btech as 70% but don't worry sometimes they'll keep 65 also.....
Firstly theyll keep one aptitude exam to filter the candidates ......after that group discussion will be there to further filter the candidates.......then finally intervew

Hi ,

Mostly TCS will be asking for 60% aggregate marks through out the carrer and not more than two years gap in the education.Attimes they will not consider this.Mostly you will be eligible.

You are not eligible to take part in campus placement of TCS as they require 60% in 10, +2, and graduation.

Your +2 and graduation marks are good but marks in 10th is less than their eligiblity criteria.

You can apply to some other company with either dont consider 10th marks or have criteria of >59%.

Eligibility Criteria for TCS Recruitment
1. Students should have 60% and above throughout his / her career.
2. No standing backlogs are allowed.
3. There should not be a gap of more than 2 years in the education.
4. M.Tech and MCA students having 3 or more than 3 years experience are not allowed.

you have 59.6% in 10th.you are B.Tech student you can thought that you are able or not.

you are not qualifying the selection criteria of the tcs company,
your marks are less than the qualifying marks in the tenth class,
so you will have to phase real problems for appearing for the written test,but as you are falling short of the mark by very little margin they may consider your case but then you have to do really well in the written and interview because even your engineering percentage is not great and very less when compared to other students who will come for the interview,
also for the written exam prepare from the barrons gre text book because almost all the questions in the tcs written exam comes from this book,
and prepare well in c language for the technical interview and also be ready to answer some silly but tricky questions

The Eligibility for TCS is:
60% or more in 10th standard,12th standard and graduation.
Also there must not be a gap of more than 2 years between the studies.

its depends upon college in which u are currently studying beacuse in some college tcs only see the marks of ur current course but in some college they will have a minimum criteria of 60% from 10 th to onwards.

Sorry, You are not eligible for TCS exam because the eligibility criteria for TCS is 60% marks in B.Tech, 10th and in 12th and there are no more then two yer gap but your 10th marks is less then 60%. So you are not eligible for TCS campus recruitment.
But don't worry you are eligible for many other company. I wish you will get a good job.

hello friend..

Am sorry, you are not eligible for TCS campus placement because TCS allow only a minimum of 2 yrs study gap... but you dont have to worry there are many small companies available which wont see the study gap at all but only your performance so try to get in those small companies and get some experience and then you can jump into TCS or any other big companies with your experience...

I'm haritha..completed b.tech second year(ece)..i have scored good percentages in both 10th and 2(94% and 93.6%),but unfortunately got an engg. seat in an average college which has minimum no.of companies for campus recruitment....
Do u offer walk-in interviews..for candidates like me...after completion of my B.tech course
and i'm gonna get registered in jkc within 2 months...
Are the jkc registered candidates eligible for off campus interviews held by ur company....??

Sorry friend you are not eligible for TCS because TCS want 60% through out the educational carrier (10.+2,b tech)..
but you prepare for other software companies because many companies give you the chance to sit ..
so prepare your self and do your best because after 2 year no one ask your 10th or +2 marks only your experience matter ..

TCS want overall 60%.even 59.9% are not eligible for TCS. your 10th marks is not above 60%.

hi i got 93.12 ,81.66,74.32 in 10th pu and aggregate in BE . . . am i eligible for direct interview for campus recruitment in tcs

TCS is ofcourse a best place to have your career with.
TCS expects candidates to have minimum of 60% of marks in their 10th 12th and degree. also candidate should not have backlogs at the time of placements. history of arrears will not create any problem.
as you have maintained 60% in all your exams (12th 59.6 can be rounded as 60%) you can be eligible for TCS placements.

direct interview depends on the college grade and department my friend. if you belong to a A grade college you are definitely eligible for direct interview in TCS
but for other grade colleges only top 5 students will be eligible for direct interview. your graduation score is good so i guess you will be one among top 5 in your department. if you are so you are eligible for direct interview.
also not all department students will be eligible for direct interview. only candidates from electronic and computer stream will be eligible for direct interview.
