I'm a student in 12th, I want to join Indian Air Force as a Fighter Pilot so, which entrance exam should I give after 12th? And which government college is best for me to pursue degree course in Fighter Pilot?

The entrance examinations available to join Indian Air Force as Fighter Pilot.
1)National Defence Academy (NDA):-
You would need to appear for National Defence Academy (NDA) exam. If selected, then you will undergo a three years training at NDA followed by flying training at Air Force Training establishments. After completion of the training, you will be commissioned as ‘Permanent Commission Officers’ or can be posted as Pilots at the Indian Air Force Station.


2)Combined Defence Services Exam (CDSE):-You can apply for CDSE and if passed the examination then you will get admission to Indian Military Academy or Indian Naval Academy or Air Force Academy (AFA). You will get the training in Air Force Academy. After the successful completion of the training,you will be commissioned as ‘Permanent Commission Officers’ or can be posted as Pilots at the Indian Air Force Station.

3)National Cadet Corps (NCC) Special Entry:- If you are a Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate holder than you are are eligible for National Cadet Corps (NCC) Special Entry. The joining is done through the Directorate General National Cadet Corps or through your respective NCC Air Squadrons.

Eligibility Criteria:
1)You should be unmarried Indian Male.
2)Your age should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years for NDA.
You should be between the age of 20 to 24 years for CDSE and NCC Special Entry.

3)You must either appearing or have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics to appear for NDA exam. You must be a gradute to apply for CDSE and NCC Special Entry.
