Which examinations can a B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering student appear if presently preparing for Civil Services?
I am preparing for civil services exams a engineering student of mechanical branch.
I am in third year i want to know what type of exams i can appear? |

If you want to appear for civil exam then you should apply for UPSC.

YOu can appear Indian Engineer Service,Indian Forest Service and many services conducted by UPSC.

AFTER GRADUATION, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CANDIDATES CAN APPLY FOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION & INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAMINATION.BESIDES THAT THEY CAN ALSO APPLY FOR C.D.S. , CPF(AC) EXAMINATION.
ALL THESE EXAMINATIONS ARE CONDUCTED BY U.P.S.C. BY APPLYING IN THESE EXAMINATIONS THEY CAN ABLE TO GET RECRUITED UNDER GOVT. JOBS/INDIAN RAILWAYS JOB. CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION ELIGIBILITY:- Educational Qualification:- -You must be a graduate from recognized university. -Candidates completed their graduation from technical / professional courses are also eligible to apply. -Final year candidate can also apply for the exam. -Only passing mark is enough to appear in the exam. -You must be Indian citizen. Age limit:- -Age limit is 21-30 years . -For SC/ST 5 YEARS of age relaxation is available. -For O.B.C. 3 years of age relaxation is available.
