Which has more scope and better opportunities between M.Sc in Zoology and M.Sc in Microbiology?
Hello everybody, I am a graduate with B.Sc in Microbiology as my main subject along with Chemistry and Botany. Will I be eligible for M.Sc Zoology? Or, should I stick to M.Sc in Microbiology only? Which would be much better option?

Re: Which has more scope and better opportunities between M.Sc in Zoology and M.Sc in Microbiology?
Microbiology has better scope but it more or less depends on ones interest and expertise.
Both have opportunities . Microbiologist can be placed in different industries like Food processing Dairy Pharmacy in their quality control and quality assurance department. Being a zoologist one can opt for becoming an environment specialist Research Fellowship Zoo curator Fishery and aquaculture But it's not that easy, one has to crack various National or state level entrance exam to achieve such position For lecturership , they have to qualify UGC NET exam. Thus it depends on you, what you want to go for . |
