MPSC PSI Exam Dates:-

Advertisement:- February 2012
Prelims:- 22 April 2012
Main Exam:- 22 Jul 2012

Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Requirements:-

(a) OBC: 35 years
(b) SC/ST/NT: 38 years
(c) Open Category: 33yrs / for PSI exams it is 28 yrs

Educational Qualifications:- A candidate must be a graduate.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:-

For male candidates only

Height (in cms):- 165

Chest (in cms )

Unexpanded - 79
Expanded - 84

For Female candidates only

Height (in cms):- 157

MPSC PSI Exam Paper Pattern:-

There are three stages of PSI Exam ,Preliminary Examination ,Main Examination, Physical Test and Interview.

Preliminary Examination consist of 150 Questions,300 Marks and Timing is 11/2 hours.

The Main Examination has multiple choice type of questions. Syllabus is of MPSC Civil Service Preliminary exam kind.Question Paper is in both English and Marathi medium.

This exam is conducted at 4 places in Maharashtra:Mumbai,Pune , Aurangabad , Nagpur.Students who clear the Main Examination are called for the Physical Test. after which is the Interview.

After the result of PSI Main Examination there is a Physical Test.

Only those who score more than 100 marks qualify for the Interview.

75 Marks for Interview.

MPSE stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

Regarding the eligibility criteria of MPSE:

1. Academic: Degree in Science/Engineering. Transport Officer: Degree. Adequate knowledge of Marathi will be preferred.

2. Age: 19-28 years. Relaxable upto 33 years for BC candidates.

The MPSC exam application form can be downloaded from the sitehttp://www.mpsc.gov.in/MPSC/indexe.jsp
The completed application form attached with relevant documents should be submitted along with the fees at the designated post offices.For open category,fee is Rs 400/- and for OBC-Rs 200/-.

For offline application,the price of application form is Rs 100/-.The Application Form and the Prospectus is obtainable from the designated Post Offices. The details regarding the location of the Post offices where the Application Forms and prospectus can be obtained could be viewed on the MPSC website. The fee for the open category is Rs 400/- and for the OBC candidates it is Rs.200/-. The fees amount needs to be paid at the time of submitting application form in the post office.

he Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced its schedule for various examinations for the year 2012. Examination for the below mentioned category shall be conducted according to schedule if Government requisitions for the post are received in time. Specific dates will be announced seperately with the notification of each examination.

You must graduate to appear for the MPSC exam

*Aspirants in their final year can also appear for the MPSC exam.

Age:18-23

Upper Age relaxation
For OBC candidates: 35yrs

For SC/ST/NT candidates: 38yrs

you can Attempt this exam any no. of times

The physical fitness:
1.Height: 165 cms.
2.Chest: 84 (Unexpanded) for Supt.
