If you are in final year of your masters degree then you are eligible for UGC NET exam. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC. The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. |

NET exam stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by University Grant commission to get admission in Lectureship.
Eligibility for UGC NET exam: Master degree from government recognized university in social science, Electronics, Humanities, Computer science and application etc.. with 55% marks for general category candidates. Age limit for NET exam: For JRF, your age should not age more than 28 years. For Assistant Professor there is no upper age limit. Last date to apply this exam of 2015 is over. Exam date is 28th June 2015. |
