Hiiiiiiii for Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states so i suggest you to keep checking UPSC websites that is www.upse.nic.in and they qualifications are:-
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must have hold a degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law. No person who has any financial interest in the import/manufacture of sale or drugs and cosmetics shall be appointed as an Inspector, under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1945. AGE : A candidate must be under 32 years and above 21 years of age. |

To become a drug inspector you need to pass the drug inspector exam conduted by state public service commissions. The details are as follows: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must have hold a degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law. No person who has any financial interest in the import/manufacture of sale or drugs and cosmetics shall be appointed as an Inspector, under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1945. Selection procedure: The selection of candidates for recruitment to the post shall be made on the basis of written test/examination and Viva Voce Test. The written examination will consist of two papers. The examination in Pharmacy will be covered in Paper-I consisting of 200 marks. The examination in General Knowledge will cover in Paper-II consisting of 50 marks. The Commission shall conduct the Viva Voce Test for 25 marks. |

The written exam for drug inspector is carried out every year by the UPSC. The basic qualification as to appear in this exam is to have a degree in Pharmacy. The written exam will have questions from pharmacy and general knowledge. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The questions will be asked for 250 marks for 150 questions. General Science – Contemporary developments in Science and Technology and their implications including matters of every day observation and experience, as may be expected of a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline. 2. Current events of national and international importance. 3. History of India – emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, cultural and political aspects with a focus on AP Indian National Movement. 4. Functions of different parts of Brain and spinal cord, Neuohumoral transmission in the central nervous system and autonomic nervous system. 19.
