IAS Exam i.e. Indian Administrative Exam
IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year. You must have graduation degree from a recognized university for IAS.

Eligibility criteria in Details:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university

Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

Number of Attempts:
Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.
If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.
How to apply:
•Apply online by using the website

•Apply offline by purchasing the application form from designated post offices throughout the country.

To Prepare for IAS:You need focused study of subjects. You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination.

You need to have good knowledge of current affairs and our history and administration.
It’s important to have some reading habits as that will help you to keep yourself updated about the current affairs. Read lots of magazines.Also you should be strong in aptitude and the subjects that you have chosen or will choose.

Information Regarding IAS Entrance Examination.

Nice to see your interest in the field of the Civil services examination which is conducted by the UPSC in every year. Indian Administrative Services (IAS) is the one of the famous and respected job of India. IAS entrance examination is come under civil services examination which is conducted by the UPSC once in every year.

Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services Examination :

To become an IAS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam, conducted by UPSC every year after Graduation.

Requirement for IAS, Civil Service Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National.
-Should have either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

The proper time to start for Preparation of IAS is after 12th standard. At least one year rigorous preparation is must before sitting for the Civil Service Exam.
