i want to be a IPS officer???What is the pattern for this exam and ,,what r the optional subjects that i can choose to...

Hai,

IPS stands for Indian Police Service.

UPSC conducting this exam every year once.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree from any recognised university.

No need of percentage restrictions to appear this exam.

Candidate must be a Indian citizen.

Final year appearing candidates are also eligible.

Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 30 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC category candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary exam,

Mains exam,

Personal interview.
