How can a female candidate join Merchant Navy after completing her 10th board exams?
Good Morning Sir/Ma'am, I am a female candidate and presently in 10th standard and want to join Merchant Navy. Is it possible? And, if it is possible then what are the requirements for this and how can I join? Can I join directly after completing my 10th Board exams or do I need to complete 11th and 12th as well? Please, guide.

You need to wait two years. Eligibility criteria is candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCM combination. And your age should be between 16-25years. And only unmarried candidates have the chance to apply for Merchant Navy.
After you complete your 12th you should appear for All India Merchant Navy Entrance Exam or Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Exam (IMU CET). Once you clear one of these you can join Merchant Navy. |
