The Company Secretary course is a professional course which is run by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. You can get jobs in stock exchanges, Department of Company Affairs, company law boards etc and started salary will be around Rs 20.000 onwards.
Candidates need to be minimum 10+ 2 for applying for the registration. There is no entrance test and for the Foundation Course followed by Executive Programme and Professional Programme respectively. The form for the foundation programme can be downloaded from the ICSI website. The application and postal tution fee is around Rs 5000 for the programme. The exams are conducted in the month of February and November.
Foundation Course:

Candidates should have cleared class 12 are eligible for foundation course.

• Information Systems and Quantitative Techniques

Intermediate Course:

Candidates who have cleared the foundation course and age is not less than 17 years can apply for the intermediate level. Minimum qualification should be graduates with foundation course.

The final stage of the company secretary course imparts training on a wide variety of specialised subjects.
