The M.A. English is a two year postgraduate course. The eligibility to apply for this is a graduation in any discipline with English as one of the subjects from the recognized university/institution. Some of the reputed universities conduct entrance test also for the admission. But mostly it is a regular admission only. You have to first complete your graduation and then select the college to study the course and you can apply directly.

You can also study M.A. in English in correspondence mode. The eligibility will be the same. You can work somewhere and study the course in correspondence. After the course you can pursue your career in teaching, translation, English editor, English proofreader, content writer etc.
