How can I become a Train Loco Pilot after completing 10th?

I have completed my 10th and wants to become a Train Loco Pilot in the Indian Railways. So, which stream should I choose for my 11th and 12th? And, will CBSE Board be a good choice or should I go for state board? Or, is there any Diploma courses available for Train Loco Pilot which I cab join after 10th directly?

RRB conducts Loco Pilot recruitment examination for recruitment.

The required minimum qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed 10th and have passed diploma course from the recognised institute.

The entrance examination is conducted by various institutes. There is no direct recruitment after the diploma course. For more information visit at www.rrb.gov.in.
