Re: How can I get admission after scoring 46% in 12th science
For admission in MBBS or BDS course, you will have to qualify in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. The eligibility criteria for NEET exam is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The minimum percentage of marks required in board exams to apply for this exam is 50% for general and OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidate. If you belong to SC/ST category then you can apply for this exam otherwise there is no chance to apply for this exam for pursuing either MBBS or BDS course. You can also get admission in Bachelor's degree in Botany or Zoology if you are not able to get admission in MBBS course. |

For doing mbbs or bds firstly you have to qualify the national level medical entrance exam that is NEET, conducted by NTA once every year.
The minimum qualification required to be eligible for applying for NEET is= ••Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as main subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET. ••12th percentage required for NEET 2020 are separate for each category and can be listed as under. UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% These minimum eligibility marks in 12th to be considered are aggregate marks only of PCB subjects. |
