You can Indian Army through CDS (Combined Defence Service ) Examination . To apply for this examination , you should have a completed graduate degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification .

CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year and conducted for :-

~~Indian Military Academy
~~Indian Naval Academy
~~Indian Air force Academy
~~Officer Training Academy

CDS Important dates :-

• Date of announcement :- 02/06/12
• Last date for receipt of application :- 02/07/12
• Date of examination :- 16/09/12

The application forms will be accepted in only online mode and there is offline facility of this examination . Online application :- Click here !!!

The cost of application forms is 200 /- ( excepting for SC/ST candidates ) .

Payment modes :-

~~By cash direct SBI branches .
~~By pay through Internet banking .
~~By pay through Credit / Debit Cards .

Indian Military Academy :-

## Candidate must be Citizen of India .
## You should be completed graduate degree in any discipline .
## There is no specific marks required for CDS Examination .
## Final year candidates are eligible to apply for this examination .
## Your age should be between 19 years and 24 years .
## There is no upper age limits .
## Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible .

You can join indian army after graduation by applying cds exam.
Eligiblity for cds exam:-
CDS Exam is conducted twice in a year by the UPSC for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy Officers.
The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of march and August the examination is conducted in march and august respectively.
Only unmarried graduates are eligible to write the exam of CDS.
Age Limit -
Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years
Naval Academy - 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy - 19-27 Years
